Porto Raphael

Literally enchanted by the beauty of the place, in the early sixties, the Count Raphael Neville elected the bay of Agincourt to his and its entourage residence, enlivening the local news with parties which still today are remembered and contributed to transform Palau in a well known international tourist destination.
The village is perfectly inserted between cliffs, the Mediterranean spot and the sea. Not many years after the arrival of the Count Raphael Neville, a British-Italian company taking advantage of many famous architects, began to build up around the first inhabited nucleus a true touristic village but respecting at the same time the aesthetic canons traced by its founder, characterizes by the total union between constructions and nature.
Walking around the small village you can admire the graceful small villas decorated in Spanish style, the tiny church of Rita Saint and the house where lived the Count Raphael on which is engraved the phrase "dreaming is living" that has become the motto of the locality.
